When called out to investigate poor draw, smut emissions etc, it was easy to identify the problem. The rear flue pipe travelled about 20cms into an existing fireope of about 60cms x 45cms x 35cms, and with a poorly constructed soot door , problems were increased.

We removed the stove , sealed up fireope and soot box and transferred the flue exit to the top, connecting to 904 grade  flexi.

This out dated Mahogany Mantlepiece with open fire tiled cast iron insert, definitely needs to be replaced.  Well, Stove & Chimney SOotLUTIONS achieved “Transformation Operation Rochfortbridge” today  with this beautiful Hampton Aurora White marble surround complete with contrasting deep black granite hearth and back panel, complimenting the Henley Achill Insert stove. To safeguard against any breaches in existing clay liners and to add to the efficiency of stove, we fitted a 904 grade flexi flue, with flueway cavity insulated with vermiculite. An air vent also installed.
